Here are steps that will be taken after you report the incident to us:
1. Incident Notification
By phone/Email/Online form or portal.
2. Determine liability:
We will determine who was at fault in an accident. We may communicate with parties involved and request images of the incident, any witness so Liability can be determine. Here we can confirm if our client is at fault or not at fault.
3. Our client at fault
If you are at fault in an accident we will lodge insurance claim through our client insurer and fill all necessary paperwork so you can get back on the road as soon as possible. We may also assist you to choose one of the repairer or arrange accident replacement vehicle for you if hire car option is available in your policy.
We will also communicate with third party and compare cost of the claim with excess require to pay our client’s insurer. If excess is higher than damages to both vehicle we will negotiate the cost of claim and may settle it without even lodging insurance claim. If it is more than excess, we will simply provide claim number from our client’s insurer to third party.
4. Our client is not at fault
If you are not at fault in an accident, we will arrange repairs of your vehicle at your/ our preferred repairer and provide you replacement vehicle for duration of repairs. We then communicate with third party to provide us necessary information so we may send our demands to third party insurance to pay for our damages.
We may also assist other types of claims when our client is either not insured or want to transfer liability of the claim to third party company or other subcontractor .
